I have examples of work I have created in employment, as a freelancer and at university. I continue to learn and improve with every design I create. I always design with accessibility and usability in mind. This ensures that each individual user of all the sites I create has the most intuative GUI in front of them, to ensure a pleasent interface interaction experience.
I currently work for Detica as a Senior Interaction Designer. I am responsible for designing websites, intranets, interfaces, and other such applications that need a graphical style to support the functionality. I am also responsible for a great deal of print work to support bid packs and project deliverables.
At university I gained a wide knowledge of various multimedia platforms including, touch screen kiosks, video production/editing, human computer interaction, sound editing, web design and photography.
I have over 5 years design experience in the industry and my previous employers include Tesco.com where I was responsible for such work as redesigning the homepage amd designing the entire Tesco Direct website. I was also responsible for looking after 2 junior designers and 2 designers who were based in India. I have also worked for LBi Group where I worked client side at Marks and Spencer, helping with the launch of their new website.
I actively seek freelance work in order to keep my designs fresh outside of employment. I do this to enable me to explore new techniques and develop new styles in multiple areas. If you require a website design/development, logos, banners, stationery or other graphical elements just contact me.
